The Highlands Volunteer Fire Station #27 encompasses a first floor of 6,582 SF with an additional 863 SF mezzanine level. The building is a pre-engineered metal structure with metal wall panels and CMU base. The scope of work included approximately 18,200 SF of site paving along with all site utilities. This Station has several sleeping rooms, locker rooms, showers, kitchen, and conference room in addition to offices. The apparatus bay consists of three, twelve foot wide openings, allowing access for a brush fire truck along with two fire trucks.
